This 1/2 day workshop provides an introduction to the integrated design process, both in theory and in practice. It explores the differences between IDP and conventional design, and how IDP can result in more cost effective, efficient, integrated and elegant projects. We will look at how the traditional project management process needs to shift and adapt to enable IDP, and also at how the roles and responsibilities of project team members are delineated in IDP.
Integral to achieving successful sustainable building projects, this training is essential for all building industry professionals - from designer to owner. In Canada, Integrated Design Process Training is presented with CaGBC.
DESIGN SYNERGIES is a 1 hour seminar that will address how integrated design synthesizes climate, use, loads and systems to deliver a more comfortable, productive and energy-efficient environment, while meeting project requirements and budget. This seminar is offered in partnership with BetterBricks.
